The flower barrels have been adopted and planted and Verona has never looked better. Kudos to all the merchants and private residents who take pride in Verona and adopted a flower barrel. Kudos also to the many other residents and businesses lining Main St and the side streets who have also flowered up their own barrels and pots. Our little village of Verona is fairly blooming!
Many Verona residents know Drew Cumpson from his years at Prince Charles Public School, Loughborough Public School, Sydenham High School or from his years of teaching swimming lessons at the beach in Verona. While volunteering in Peru last month, Drew had a body surfing accident and fractured his 4th vertebra, paralyzing him from the neck down. He also requires a ventilator. To help offset some of the travel costs for the Cumpson family, cash donations for Drew will be accepted at Leonard's Fuel. The name of the account is "Our Drew".
